Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Everba welcomes original research articles, scholarly essays, reviews, and other academic contributions within the journal’s scope. Manuscripts should present clear, well-structured, and academically sound research and must not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original and appropriately acknowledge all sources used.

Manuscripts should be written in a clear and consistent academic style and submitted in an editable format. The submission should include an informative title, author name(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address, an abstract, and relevant keywords. The main text should be logically organised with appropriate headings and should clearly present the purpose, methodology, analysis, results, discussion, and conclusions where applicable. Authors should follow a consistent citation and reference style throughout the manuscript and ensure that every work cited in the text is included in the reference list.

All submissions are subject to editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review. Authors should ensure that the manuscript contains no plagiarism, fabricated or manipulated data, or other forms of academic misconduct. Any use of material, data, figures, tables, or ideas from other sources must be properly acknowledged. Authors should also disclose any relevant conflicts of interest and obtain appropriate permission for copyrighted material.

Before submission, authors should carefully proofread their manuscripts for language, formatting, references, and completeness. Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work is original, that all listed authors have approved the submission, and that the manuscript is not simultaneously submitted elsewhere. The editorial team reserves the right to return manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic academic, ethical, or formatting requirements.
