Plagiarism and AI Use Policy

Everba is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts must be original work and must properly acknowledge the ideas, words, data, and materials of other authors. Plagiarism, including direct copying, substantial unattributed paraphrasing, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, and inappropriate reuse of previously published material, is not acceptable. Manuscripts may be screened using appropriate plagiarism-detection tools, and submissions found to contain significant plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected or subject to further editorial action.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is permitted only when it does not compromise the originality, accuracy, or integrity of the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for the content, factual accuracy, citations, originality, and final version of their work. AI tools should not be listed as authors. Where AI has been used substantially for purposes such as generating or developing manuscript content, authors should transparently disclose such use in the manuscript or during submission, where appropriate. AI-generated references, data, quotations, or claims must be carefully verified by the authors. The use of AI to fabricate data, manipulate results, create misleading content, or conceal plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
